Smiles VS Laughter.

SMILE.

A smile is a gentle uplift of the corner of your lips, mostly accompanied by a sparkle in your eyes.
It could be so subtle that others might missed it, but theres no mistaking the joy reflected in your gleaming eyes.

Usually acheived unconsciously, your heart tells you what to do, when your heart savours a delightful moment.

The reaction can be instantly spontaneous or it can be delayed, you can have a quick private one or you could be walking the streets wearing one.
A smile looks good on anybody, nobody can resist a smiley face. :)

LAUGH.

A laugh is a hearty grin louder than your monotonous speech, mouth wide open to let out a cackle, eyes vanished into two arches, and tears may follow.
The sound generated differs from person to person, or situation to situation, need no amplifiers to broadcast the cries of joy(?) that you cannot hide.

You can detect a laughter instantly, but the motive can remain highly unknown.
It can be natural but it can also be manufactured.

It can be an instinctive response when a funny bone is being tickled. It can be a torrent of conceding self-mockery or an attempt in concealing emotions.
Listen intently to the cries of your laughing soul for the hidden secrets of your sub-conscious mind. :D

SMILE vs LAUGH.

A smile is irresistable and a laughter is contagious.
For every reason to happiness, smile.
For every tendency to frown, laugh instead!
Smile genuinely and Laugh to your hearts content!

nice comparison…like the “A smile is irresistable and a laughter is contagious” best…

i wish i will have the wisdom to smile and laugh more than i frown and sulk..=p

if life is a movie, will yours be a comedy or drama or thriller or tragedy? stephen Chow’s style or Wang Jiawei’s style?heehee..

Maybe we should all aim for this: “when we are borned, everyone is smiling but us, just hope that when we leave this world, we are smiling while everyone around us are sobbing..”
